About the Opportunity:
A fast-growing cannabis company is seeking an experienced Compliance Manager to oversee regulatory compliance across all aspects of our operations. This role is key to maintaining our standing with local and state agencies, and ensuring every department follows proper protocols in a highly regulated industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure full compliance with all applicable cannabis laws and regulations
  • Develop, update, and implement internal SOPs and compliance protocols
  • Manage cannabis licensing, renewals, and permit processes
  • Prepare and submit required reports to regulatory bodies
  • Conduct routine audits and inspections; track and resolve non-compliance issues
  • Act as point of contact for regulatory inspections and correspondence
  • Train staff on regulatory standards and company compliance procedures
  • Stay up-to-date on evolving cannabis laws and regulations
  • Investigate compliance incidents and execute corrective action plans

Qualifications:

  • This is a job in the cannabis industry any applicants must be over the age of 21 with no felonies
  • 2+ years in regulatory compliance (cannabis, pharmaceutical, or other regulated industry)
  • Strong understanding of cannabis compliance systems, including Dutchie and Confident Cannabis
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, law, regulatory affairs, or similar field
  • Facility agent card
  • Hands-on experience in cannabis retail, cultivation, or manufacturing
  • Prior experience leading regulatory audits or inspections
