Description
Position Summary: The GT and BMC Business Enablement Learning Strategy team is seeking a Data Entry Analyst to assist with transferring paper survey response information into a centralized electronic format or database system.
Key Responsibilities
- Entering Data: Transcribing information from various sources (paper, electronic files, etc.) into computer systems or databases.
- Data Verification: Ensuring the accuracy and completeness of entered data by cross-checking with original sources.
- Data Management: Maintaining and updating existing data, organizing files (physical and digital), and backing up data.
- Report Generation: Assisting with generating reports and summaries based on collected data.
- Data Integrity: Ensuring the confidentiality and security of sensitive information.
- Software Proficiency: Utilizing various software programs, such as spreadsheets (like Excel), databases, and other relevant tools.
Required Qualifications
- Typing Speed and Accuracy: Fast and accurate typing skills are essential for entering large volumes of data.
- Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail is crucial for identifying and correcting errors.
- Data Entry Experience: Prior experience with data entry tasks is a significant advantage.
- Software Proficiency: Familiarity with common software applications, especially Microsoft Office (Excel, Word), and database systems.
- Communication and Collaboration: The ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and provide assistance when needed.
- Organizational Skills: The ability to organize and manage data, files, and other resources.
- Problem-Solving Skills: The ability to identify and resolve issues related to data entry and data integrity.
