Visit peraton.com to learn how were keeping people around the world safe and secure./ppPeraton has an opportunity for you to join our military intelligence program(s) of record to deliver, operate and sustain modernized, transformed data science/ data analysis environments worldwide that enable speedy and precise decision making to warfighters./ppResponsibilities:/pulliDevelop and apply mathematical theories and statistical methods to solve intelligence problems./liliCollect, organize, interpret and summarize data to inform decision making to solve a broad range of problems./liliDevelop mathematical or statistical models of phenomena for analysis or computational simulation./liliDesign complex metrics projects that apply valid scientific techniques and utilize information obtained from baselines or historical data./liliPlan and perform data collection for projects, determining types/sizes of sample groups and parameters./liliPrepares data for processing by organizing information and checking for inaccuracies./liliProcess large amounts of data for statistical modeling and graphic analysis/ metrics./liliDevelop software or work with developers to automate the collecting and processing of data./liliProduce the results of analyses in graphs, charts, tables, and metrics./liliPrepare products to describe and document findings and activities; provide briefings to decision makers./li/ulpQAF specific:/pulliConduct audits to ensure compliant use of AI systems for approved use-cases in all source analysis./liliEvaluate advanced analytics performance and compliance with tradecraft standards./liliDevelop and maintain a repository of audit findings and recommendations to identify areas of improvement./liliFacilitate knowledge sharing and best practices across the organization./liliDesign and execute Testing, Evaluation, Verification, and Validation (TEVV) protocols./liliEvaluate the performance, robustness, and fairness of AI systems in all source analysis contexts./liliDevelop and apply statistical models and methods to analyze TEVV results and identify areas for improvement./liliDevelop and implement corrective actions to address TEVV findings./liliDevelop and track performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of AI systems in all source analysis./liliAnalyze and interpret performance metrics to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement./liliCollaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement data-driven decision-making processes to inform AI system development and improvement./liliPublish and present research findings on AI assurance methodologies and best practices./liliSupport capability development by contributing, editing, and storing code in Government owned/controlled source version control repositories./li/ulpQualifications:/ppRequired Qualifications:/pulliMasters degree in a relevant field, such as Statistics/ Mathematics or Computer Science, etc., with a minimum of 20 years of work experience./liliExpertise in Statistics/ Mathematics application and QAF Oversight Monitoring./liliStrong analytical and critical thinking skills to interpret complex data and draw meaningful conclusions./liliExperienced in utilization of the Quality Assurance Framework and standards./liliExperienced in advanced analytics, machine learning, and data integration methodologies./liliExperienced with intelligence databases, software, and analytical tools./liliAbility to work collaboratively with users and stakeholders./liliCapacity to adapt to changing situations to prioritize tasks effectively./liliExcellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills./li/ulpPreferred Qualifications:/pulliDoctorate degree in a relevant field, such as Statistics/ Mathematics or Computer Science./liliExperience working in the customer environment is preferred./li/ulpSecurity Clearance: This Position requires an Active TS/SCI and the ability to obtain a CI Poly, US Citizenship is required to hold this clearance./ppTarget Salary Range: $146,000 - $234,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individuals experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
