Job Description

We're searching for a detail-oriented mortgage loan officer assistant. This position will play a vital part in communicating with referral partners, current and past clients, real estate agents, lenders, and underwriters to nurture relationships and develop new business. You will facilitate the completion of real estate loan applications, collect, analyze, and review supporting loan documentation in accordance with loan guidelines, and provide support throughout the loan application process. Compensation: $47,500 + bonus Responsibilities: * Follow up and respond to customer and in-house inquiries on transactions as needed in order to provide superior customer service * Coordinate and prepare documentation necessary for verifications and underwriting such as loan files, loan packages, credit reports, and additional mortgage application paperwork * Review all loan package documentation for discrepancies, omissions, and income calculation then report any discrepancies to the loan originator * Serve as the primary contact and liaison between clients, branch manager, and assigned loan originator and conduct meetings to coordinate any follow-up items * Assist with administrative duties such as making and screening calls, booking appointments, etc. * Assemble loan documentation as required for verifications and underwriting, such as loan files, loan packages, credit reports, and additional mortgage application paperwork * Handle all customer and in-house inquiries about transactions so the process is smooth and customers receive excellent service * Act as the primary contact between clients and our company, and schedule and conduct meetings to discuss any follow-up issues or items that need to be addressed * Check all loan package documents for complete accuracy and submit any discrepancies to the loan officer/ loan originator * Screen and make calls, book appointments, and provide administrative support as needed Qualifications: * MS Office proficiency required; some CRM, MLS, DU, and proprietary mortgage software preferred * College degree in finance or banking preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required * 2-3 years of professional office environment and administration or mortgage experience preferred * Having an NMLS license is not required, but is preferred * Highly motivated and goal-oriented with excellent customer service and communication skills * Local candidates only - relocation not provided * Previous mortgage experience required * Preferably 2-3 years of administrative support in a professional office or mortgage environment About Company Efinity Mortgage has a mission to equip and enable people to live their life's passions.
