The Guest Service Department Manager’s responsibilities include ensuring Crew and Managers deliver a great customer experience, executing sales promotions effectively, training all service staff in procedures, and organizing the Front Counter McCafé and Drive-Thru areas. The Kitchen Department Manager’s responsibilities include delivering high‑quality food quickly, maintaining food safety, controlling food cost, and training all kitchen staff in production procedures, including new menu items. The People Department Manager ensures the restaurant hires qualified crew, trains them, schedules them to meet sales and profit goals, and motivates crew throughout their tenure. Previous managerial experience is preferred, ideally within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment. You must be 18 years or older to manage at McDonald's corporate owned and operated restaurants.
