Job Description

CONRAD'S Eat Drink Local is looking for a Restaurant server to add to our team. We are a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant and operate three event rooms within our doors. The ideal candidate would have high-volume serving experience with some knowledge of craft beer. We are looking for Day-Time and Night-Time servers and full and part time!


To succeed in this role, you will need to have a positive attitude and ability work well under pressure with bartenders, cooks, management, and other staff. Previous work experience involving customer service in a fast-paced environment is desired, but not required.


Responsibilities Include:

• Be a Brand Ambassador
• Prepare restaurant tables with special attention to sanitation and order
• Take food and drink orders from customers accurately and with a positive attitude
• Enter orders in POS system
• Engage with customers in a friendly manner
• Knowledge of the menu, cocktail/wine list and beer taps with the ability to make suggestions
• Ensure tables are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems
• Collect payments from tables
• Show appreciation to our guests every transaction
• Prepare checks that itemize and total meal costs and sales taxes
• Help food preparation staff when necessary
• Complete opening and closing duties
• Follow running side work and end of shift side work

• Experience providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment desired
• A positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure with other staff
• Able to perform high-quality work while unsupervised
• Attention to cleanliness and safety
• Patience and customer-oriented approach
• Excellent people skills with a friendly attitude
• Responsible and trustworthy
• Able to handle money accurately and operate our POS system
• Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment and deliver orders in a timely manner
