Position: Trauma Neurosurgeon
Location: Ocala, Florida
Job Type: Full-time


Practice Overview


Seeking an experienced Neurosurgeon to join respected and busy American College of Surgeons (ACS) verified Level I Trauma Center. The neurosurgeon will work within the Department of Trauma to provide specialized trauma neurosurgical care, supported by a dedicated APP team and a full-service trauma line.


Practice Highlights

• Hospital-based position under the trauma department
• Focused on trauma neurosurgery including neuro trauma alerts, consults, follow-up clinic, program improvement, trauma center survey verification/designation, and quality rounds
• Shared schedule with another dedicated trauma neurosurgeon and APP support
• Area's only ACS-verified Level I Trauma Center, serving 5 counties and over 1 million residents

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurosurgery
• FL medical license (or ability to obtain)
• DEA license (or eligibility)
