ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Prescott, Arizona.

\nRN - Med Surg
\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM with 30-minute unpaid lunch break
\n• Every other weekend requirement (2 weekends per 4-week schedule)
\n• Holiday requirement includes working Christmas, New Year's, and Thanksgiving (2 days and 1 evening or 2 evenings and 1 day)
\n• Night shifts available with first to float requirement
\n• Patient ratio of 1:5 on telemetry unit with 48 beds (units 4A and 4B)
\n• Must be able to read basic telemetry strips and interpret/sign strips at least once per shift
\n• Experience required with general and orthopedic surgical patients, CVA, and TIA
\n• Common patient diagnoses include COVID, respiratory, GI, diabetics, telemetry, TIA, CVA, general surgical, orthopedic, and spinal surgical patients
\n• Float requirements to East Campus and possibly PCU if qualified
\n• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS
\n• Navy blue scrubs required
\n• One shift of unit orientation provided
\n• Cerner charting system experience recommended
\n• Self-scheduling used but subject to manager balancing
\n• No call or standby requirements
\n• Work with respiratory equipment including BiPap, CPAP, high flow, and breathing treatments
\n• Support from nurse aides with 1:10-15 ratio and charge nurse who does not take patient assignments
