Usability Researcher

Our client, a leader in digital product development, is seeking a Usability Researcher to join their team. As a Usability Researcher, you will be part of the Digital Experience Support team, supporting initiatives focused on enhancing user interactions and product usability. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, proactive communication, and a passion for understanding user needs, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Usability Researcher

Location: Remote (within US)

Pay Range: $38 to $40/hr on W2

Duration: 18 months contract

What's the Job?

  • Plan and execute remote usability studies, including both moderated and unmoderated sessions
  • Analyze data from research activities and synthesize insights into comprehensive reports and visual presentations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize issues and track the impact of research findings
  • Support the development of user-centered design strategies based on research insights
  • Contribute to making digital products more accessible and easier to use for diverse user groups worldwide

What's Needed?

  • At least 2 years of experience in UX research or 1 year in UX research combined with 2+ years in related product roles such as design, data science, or project management
  • Strong project management, organization, and planning skills with attention to detail
  • Experience writing surveys and analyzing quantitative data
  • Proficiency with qualitative research methods and insight synthesis
  • Educational background in Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Science, Psychology, Anthropology, or related fields
