Work Instructor/Driver

Join Our Team at AEDD! Position: Full-Time Work Instructor/Driver Location: AEDD - Arkansas Enterprises for the Developmentally Disabled Pay: $13.00/hr DOE Hours: Monday - Friday, 6:30 AM - 5:30 PM

We're currently hiring a Work Instructor/Driver to join our team. This dual role offers a unique opportunity to teach, guide, and support adults in their daily work activities while also ensuring they get to and from our facility safely. What You'll Do:

• Support and supervise individuals as they complete meaningful work tasks.
• Provide guidance in areas like communication, social development, and cognitive skills.
• Help consumers meet production goals, while maintaining high standards for quality.
• Observe and track progress on individual goals, providing feedback and support.
• Facilitate group and one-on-one learning sessions, helping individuals grow and succeed in their personal and professional goals.

As a Driver, you will:

• Ensure the safe and timely transportation of consumers to and from the facility.
• Maintain a clean and comfortable vehicle for the safety and comfort of all passengers.
• Keep track of vehicle maintenance and daily transportation logs.

What We're Looking For:

• You're 21 years or older.
• You have a valid Arkansas Driver's License.
• You can pass a background check and drug test.
• You have a High School Diploma or equivalent. Experience in human services is a plus!
• CPR/First Aid certification is a plus, but we're happy to help you get it if you don't have it already.
• You're ready to jump in and support a wonderful group of consumers as they achieve their goals.
