Make-Up Artist 
Summary/Objective 
The role is ideal for an artist who is passionate about beauty, client experience, and growing their personal brand in a collaborative salon setting.

Essential Functions

• Provide professional makeup services for clients, including but not limited to:
  • Everyday and special occasion makeup
  • Bridal and event makeup
  • Photoshoots and creative looks
• Conduct client consultations to determine desired looks and preferences
• Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized workstation
• Stay current with makeup trends, techniques, and products
• Deliver an exceptional client experience from consultation to completion
• Promote services through social media and professional networking
• Collaborate respectfully with salon staff and fellow creatives
• Adhere to salon policies, sanitation standards, and professionalism expectations

Qualifications

• Certified or trained Makeup Artist (formal training preferred)
• Previous professional makeup experience (salon, freelance, bridal, or editorial)
• Strong portfolio showcasing versatility and skill
• Knowledge of makeup application for all skin tones and types
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor
• Comfortable working in an open floor, collaborative environment

Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional salon environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.  

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time or part time position. The hours will vary.

Travel
No travel is expected for this position.

Required Education and Experience

1. One to two years of make-up experience

*This position is booth rental
*Flexible: 3 days a week is $100 and 5 days is $125 for booth rent.
