Job Description

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and professional Logistics Coordinator to join our team. This position is essential to ensuring timely, safe, and accurate delivery of cannabis products to our clients while providing support for warehouse operations when not on delivery. This position will be responsible for managing delivery routes, receiving and fulfilling cannabis and non-cannabis orders, and assisting with wholesale/retail order fulfillment in our inventory management system and p.o.s system (Distru/Apex/Blaze). This is a dynamic role that requires flexibility and strong communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Cannabis Delivery:
   1. Safely and efficiently deliver cannabis products to retail clients and other designated locations.
   2. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations regarding the transportation of cannabis.
   3. Verify orders before delivery and ensure they are accurate, complete, and packaged securely.
   4. Maintain timely and professional communication with clients regarding estimated delivery times and any changes.
   5. Maintain confidentiality of all customer information and product details.
2. Route Planning and Communication:
   1. Map out daily delivery routes to ensure the most efficient and timely deliveries.
   2. Communicate daily route plans and any adjustments with the Director of Sales to ensure alignment with business operations.
   3. Update and track delivery progress, reporting any delays or issues that may arise.
   4. Keep an accurate delivery log that is to be shared weekly with the Director of Sales
   5. Create and adhere to SOP's
   6. Train any individual they may be in support of the Logistics Coordinator position
3. Receiving Orders:
   1. Assist in receiving cannabis and non-cannabis products upon arrival, ensuring proper inventory tracking and compliance.
   2. Verify incoming shipments for accuracy and quality and promptly report discrepancies to the appropriate parties.
   3. Organize products in the warehouse, ensuring they are stored correctly and safely.
4. Wholesale Order Fulfillment (Distru/Apex):
   1. Fulfill wholesale orders using Distru/Apex inventory management systems.
   2. Ensure all wholesale orders are accurately prepared for delivery or shipment, including labeling and packaging as required.
   3. Work with the sales and warehouse teams to ensure timely processing and fulfillment of orders.
5. Other Duties:
   1. Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Sales, including assisting with warehouse tasks, inventory counts, labeling and other administrative support.
   2. Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Experience with cannabis delivery or in a regulated industry is a plus.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and with a team.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Experience with inventory management systems (Distru/Apex or similar) is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs and handle heavy packages.
• Knowledge of cannabis industry regulations and compliance is preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift, carry, and transport cannabis and non-cannabis orders.
• Ability to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to operate a delivery vehicle in a safe manner.
